However,with that being said, can we really say it is okay for a woman to ask a man out? i personally think it is just wrong. Men should be the ones who run after us, not the other way round because in most cases women who ask men out are regarded as cheap and desperate. Question to the ladies:do you honestly want to be perceived in that manner? i don't think any woman would.
Men like to feel in charge... it gives them a sense of edge and makes them feel like the alpha males of our societies and by taking some of their roles we make them in a way feel inferior and useless. No women wants a man who is not confident r sure of himself....how do we expect for them to be what we want them to be when we treat them as if they are unable to fulfil their responsibilities?

I agree that women shouldn't ask out men and the reason to this is because in the relationship, women would tend to think and have that mentallity that they must wear the pants and anything they say goes. And also you will be degraded as a woman, you will be called desperate and cheap as you stated too.

ReplyDeletepeople its sad that its the ladies who are commenting and tearing each other apart but from the man's point of view or must i say from MY angle, there is nothing wrong with all that since it is 50/50 and its not about being scared or not good with words, there are a lot of people out there, more especially in the crowded city of gold JHB and i might be eyeing someone else and am unawre of you. take note that i have been inlove and i have also been approached by my classmate but now the things that i will look at include the manner in which you use to aproach me, your facial expression and how mince your words beacause believe you me; there are women you are addicted to sex and can stoop to any level to satisfy their need. with that being said, its not all males that are after sex....so ladies eye your man thoroughly before making your move but hell no! it aint a taboo any nore unless your mind is still ine the 1900's
